Column 7:

The trail leads to a wall panel.

Column 8:

Lucas opens it.

Inside is a strange old photograph.

Cliffhanger:

The photograph shows the missing clock—but the photograph is dated 30 years earlier.

Episode 2 — The Photograph

The entire episode revolves around Lucas investigating the photograph.

He discovers:

• The clock was already missing 30 years ago.
• The same building appears in the photograph.
• One person in the photograph is still alive.
• That person refuses to talk.
• Lucas discovers another photograph.
• Both photographs contain the same mysterious symbol.

Episode ending:

Lucas sees the symbol carved into the desk in front of him.

Episode 3 — The Symbol

Lucas investigates the strange symbol.

He discovers that it appears in several locations around town.

But someone seems to be removing the symbols before he can photograph them.

Ending:

Lucas realizes:

Someone knows that he is investigating.

Episode 4 — Someone Is Watching

Now the mystery becomes more personal.

Lucas notices:

• Someone following him
• Anonymous messages
• Missing evidence
• A mysterious black notebook

At the end, Lucas catches the person following him.

But...

It's someone he thought he could trust.

Episode 5 — The Wrong Suspect

Lucas believes his acquaintance is responsible.

He spends the episode proving it.

Then he discovers the person was actually trying to protect him.

The real mystery is much older.

Episode 6 — The Hidden Room

Lucas discovers a forgotten room beneath the building.

Inside:

• Old newspaper clippings
• Photographs
• Maps
• The mysterious symbol
• A drawing of the missing clock

And one message:

"When the clock disappears again, the secret will return."

Episode 7 — The Clock Returns

The missing clock suddenly reappears.

But Lucas realizes it wasn't returned.

It was placed there deliberately.

Someone wants him to find it.

Lucas examines the clock and discovers a hidden compartment.

Inside is a key.

Episode 8 — The Secret

Lucas follows the key to the final location.

He discovers the truth about the clock and the people who had hidden the secret decades earlier.

The mystery is solved.

But just before the final panel...

Lucas receives another message:

"Good work. Now solve mine."

Lucas looks up.

END OF SERIES 1.
