PANEL 1 — TITLE
THE 7TH REFLECTION
A Visual Mystery by Forecasterman
Series 1 • Episode 8 • The Final Reflection
(Main Character: Mary ma'am)
PANEL 2 — STORY
The photograph from the lighthouse leads Mary ma'am back to the Grand City Art Gallery, where everything began.
The gallery is closed.
Mary enters the same exhibition room where The Golden Valley disappeared.
She places the clues she has collected on a table:
Golden paint mark
Seven-point symbol
Blue glass fragment
Brass key marked 7:07
Brass gear marked 7:07
Blue card
Railway ticket
Lighthouse photograph
Mary notices something strange.
The clues form a pattern when placed together.
Mary ma'am:
“Every clue brought me here.”
She looks at the empty frame.
Mary ma'am:
“But why?”
On the wall beside the frame are two photographs of the gallery.
One shows the gallery before the painting disappeared.
The other shows it afterward.
Mary smiles.
Mary ma'am:
“One last time.”
PANEL 3 — BEFORE

Mary ma'am:
“And nobody noticed anything unusual?”
Curator:
“No.”
PANEL 4 — AFTER
AFTER — 10:15 PM
Show the exact same gallery from the same viewpoint.
The Golden Valley is missing.
The following six differences must be clearly visible:
1. CCTV CAMERA
Before: pointing toward the painting.
After: turned toward the opposite wall.
2. RED VELVET ROPE
Before: straight around the display.
After: one section has shifted toward the frame.
3. BLUE VASE
Before: on the left side of its pedestal.
After: moved slightly to the right.
4. GALLERY BENCH
Before: facing the painting.
After: turned slightly toward the side door.
5. GUEST BOOK
Before: open to a blank page.
After: open to a page containing the seven-point symbol.
6. WALL CLOCK
Before: 10:00 PM.
After: 10:15 PM.
The small round mirror remains in exactly the same position.
The side/service door appears closed.
Mary compares the photographs.
Mary ma'am:
“Six differences…”
She looks at the mirror.
Mary ma'am:
“And the seventh.”
PANEL 5 — THE CLUES
Mary identifies the six visible differences:
1. CCTV — turned away from the painting.
2. Velvet rope — shifted toward the frame.
3. Blue vase — moved.
4. Gallery bench — turned toward the side door.
5. Guest book — now contains the seven-point symbol.
6. Wall clock — changed from 10:00 to 10:15.
Mary follows the direction created by the moved objects.
They all draw her attention toward the painting frame and side door.
Then she looks into the small round mirror.
THE 7TH REFLECTION
The mirror shows the painting frame from a different angle.
In the reflection, Mary sees something that cannot be seen directly:
A second frame hidden behind the first.
Mary moves closer.
She touches the inside edge of the frame.
CLICK!
A concealed panel opens.
Inside is a small compartment containing a photograph.
Mary pulls it out.
PANEL 6 — STORY RESOLUTION
The photograph shows all the locations Mary visited:
The gallery.
The gem exhibition.
The library.
The clock museum.
The empty room.
The night train.
The lighthouse.
Each location is marked with the same seven-point symbol.
Mary turns the photograph over.
There is a final message:
“THE PAINTING WAS NEVER STOLEN.”
Mary looks at the empty frame.
Mary ma'am:
“So the theft was a trick.”
She examines the frame again.
A hidden mechanism releases.
A section of the wall opens.
Behind it is The Golden Valley.
The missing painting has been hidden inside the gallery all along.
Beside the painting is one final envelope.
Mary opens it.
Inside is a note:
“You found six differences.
You followed the seventh reflection.
Now you understand.”
Mary looks around the room.
Mary ma'am:
“But who created all this?”
She turns toward the small round mirror.
For the first time, the mirror does not reflect the gallery.
It reflects a long corridor filled with photographs, maps and mysterious objects.
At the far end stands an unknown silhouette.
Mary turns around.
The corridor is not there.
She looks back at the mirror.
The silhouette has disappeared.
Only seven words are written across the reflected glass:
THE NEXT MYSTERY IS YOURS TO SOLVE.
Mary smiles and closes her notebook.
Mary ma'am:
“Then let's begin.”
FINAL CAPTION
The painting was never stolen.
The seven locations were all part of a test.
But the real mystery has only just begun.
